Lana is a serial killer created by the tragedy of her past with a clear obsession for revenge. Logan is an FBI profiler hot on a serial killer's tale (hers although he has no idea)
The two happen to meet by chance and instant chemistry. She realizes he's an FBI agent and should steer clear but she breaks all the rules to be with him while still secretly carrying out her objective.
I loved Lana. And even though she was a brutal killer, enjoyed torturing her victims, because of her past you kinda understood why. (I never would in real life but that's what makes fiction so great)
The twists and turns, the action, the love that builds between Lana and Logan is beautiful, steamy, and suspenseful. The intricate nature of her revenge is phenomenal and well-executed. I loved this entire series and can't recommend it enough.
