I’ve always considered myself the predator, the leader of a band of fierce women carving out our existence on the unforgiving streets of Rio de Janeiro. But now, I’m the hunted.

The memory of that fateful night invades my thoughts. The house was supposed to be empty—another easy mark. My fingers itched to add a new piece of art to my growing collection. Stepping into the darkened hallway, I was greeted not by silence, but by a burning pair of red eyes. He was more than a man—an insatiable vampire with a madness simmering beneath his calm veneer. His bite, a searing brand I can still feel, bonded us in a way I never wanted.
 

Cunning and sheer will helped me escape that infernal place. But as I race through the dense city streets, every shadow seems to pulse with his presence. He’s coming. He wants more than my blood; he wants all of me.
 

Now, my gang—the sisters I swore to protect—they're all at risk. Can I keep them hidden from a creature who smells fear and desperation as easily as I can hear the cicadas in the jungle night? It’s a game of cat and mouse, and I’m barely a step ahead.
 

The nights blur into an endless chase until he snatches me, dragging me into the depths of the jungle to his secluded lair. The air here is thick with an intoxicating mix of danger and something else—something that makes my pulse race for an entirely different reason. 
 

Can I outmaneuver this ancient predator, the immortals hunting us for their own selfish needs, or the U.S. government hell-bent on destroying us to protect my kin and reclaim my freedom? Or will my unraveling heart and betraying body succumb to his dark, delicious desires, binding me to him forever in this untamed jungle's embrace? 
 

The battle for survival is no longer just a test of wits, but a perilous journey through the abyss of my own soul.
