Today, I'd love to take you behind the scenes of my creative process and share the influences and inspirations behind my award-winning novels, particularly the thrilling genesis of "Forgotten Storm"—the award-winning book that started it all!

The Spark of an Idea:

Every novel begins with that elusive spark—an idea that refuses to be ignored. For "Forgotten Storm," it all started with the premise of lost memories and prophecies, intertwined with the supernatural allure of a drop-dead gorgeous, albeit mysterious, guardian. The notion of Nicole, a fiercely independent woman with a past shrouded in mystery, struck a chord with me. Her struggles felt raw and authentic in a world where the lines between dreams and reality often blurred.

Character Development:

Before even putting pen to paper, Nicole and Logan were already dramatizing intense scenes in the theater of my mind. Nicole's resilience and sharp wit came alive against Logan's brooding intensity, need for control, and unwavering devotion. Their chemistry was palpable, and their dynamic created a compelling dance—one that played out in vivid color long before they found themselves inked onto the page.

Drawing from Life:

Inspiration often strikes in the most unexpected places. To channel authenticity into Nicole’s experiences, I drew upon my own life.
